Volunteering at Pine Haven is fun and rewarding!
In the course of a summer, over 200 volunteers come to camp to serve in our camp program as family leaders, teachers, cabin leaders, speakers, worship leaders, and counselors. Besides those who volunteer for our program needs, many come to help with physical work on our buildings and grounds during our Work Weekend and other times of the year. This is a significant aspect of the "Assembly" part of our name and we could not do camp without people like you giving of your time and talents to invest in others for the sake of the Kingdom. Consider volunteering in the following ways.
Faculty Volunteers: Want to make a difference in a student's life? Faculty is the volunteer spot for you. Contact the Dean of the week for which you want to volunteer. Each Dean is responsible to select their faculty for each week. Dean's contact information is linked below. Each faculty volunteer is required to complete our faculty registration process which includes but is not limited to a background screening check, securing an endorsement for service from your church leadership, and completing the required training. All training and registration must be completed at least 3 weeks before your week of service.
Service Volunteers: Have a special skill you’d like to put to use at Pine Haven? Every year Pine Haven has a Work Weekend when volunteers come to help open up camp and get it ready for a new season. Check it out here.
Short-Term Volunteers: If you’d like to volunteer your services at a time other than Work Weekend, contact Camp Manager, Tay Odor to discuss the possibilities. Want an excellent youth group mission project? This may be just the ticket.
