Couples, singles, young and old alike – Honda’s Suzuki’s, Indian’s, and Harley’s are all part of the mix.

Motorcycle Weekend at PHCA began in 2007 as an outreach event – an opportunity to invite fellow biker friends to a Christian event.  The weekend is fairly casual, yet intentional.  Bikers usually show up at Pine Haven on Friday evening.  We spend Saturday cruising the beautiful roads that surround the Park Rapids area.  We usually log between 185-220 miles as a group stopping for a pop, lunch, gas, and pictures along the way.

We have a worship service in the Lodge on Saturday evening and spend time sharing the Lord’s Supper on Sunday morning before heading our separate ways.  Ben Cachiaras from Mountain Christian Church in Baltimore Maryland will be our speaker.  As bikers who can appreciate rubber hitting the road you will appreciate Ben’s insights from the book of James.  Ben says, “James doesn’t beat around the bush – just as when the rubber hits the road we hang on for dear life – so too is what the book of James talks about – an intensely practical guide to faith in action.”
