What to Expect at Pine Haven Youth Camps

Pine Haven is where camp and Christ go together! Our goal is to give campers the opportunity to grow closer to God and experience the love of Christ.

What does that mean to our campers?

  1. Campers will hear about Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching in our chapel services.
  2. Campers have the opportunity to apply the word of God to their lives through daily Bible classes.
  3. Campers will have time to grow closer to God through personal devotions.
What else should I expect at Pine Haven?
  1. Campers will have opportunity to make new friends through our family/team time activities.
  2. Pine Haven dress is casual and modest. We typically have one dress-up night a week, so be sure to bring one nice outfit for that night. Campers should not bring tank tops with spaghetti straps, midriff-baring shirts, pants so low as to show briefs and tight or short shorts/pants. Our waterfront requires one-piece swimming suits.
  3. Expect to have a great time, to make new friends and to be challenged to grow in your relationship with God!
Safety
  1. Safety is a priority at PHCA. We make sure that we have a Nurse, EMT or First Responder present at every week of camp.
  2. All of our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.
  3. We hire certified lifeguards to oversee the waterfront. Campers must pass a swim test to go past the ropes and out to the pontoon.
