A: Nestled amongst whispering Norway Pines, Pine Haven is on the southwestern shores of beautiful Long Lake four miles south of Park Rapids, MN.

Q: Can I send mail to my camper?
A: Of course! In fact, we encourage you to support your camper with mail from home. The more, the better. Bigger is better too! When a camper receives 3 or more letters in one day or a package, they typically have to tell a joke or sing a song in front of the camp. It’s a fun tradition that the campers all enjoy.

Q: How many staff does Pine Haven have?
A: PHCA hires about 10 summer staff. These staff members work as Kitchen Crew and Outdoor Crew.

Q: How many faculty does Pine Haven have each week?
A: PHCA quality program is lead by volunteers. Over 30 ministry volunteers provide quality leadership for our programs each week. Volunteers work as cabin leaders, family leaders, teachers, speakers, worship leaders and more.

Q: How do I volunteer to serve at Pine Haven?
    Faculty Volunteers: Contact the Dean of the week for which you want to volunteer. Each Dean is responsible to acquire solidify their faculty for each week.

    Service Volunteers: Have a special skill you’d like to put to use at Pine Haven? Every year Pine Haven has a Work Weekend when volunteers come to help open up camp and get it ready for a new season. Otherwise, contact Tay Odor for other volunteering opportunities.

    RV Retiree Volunteers: Spend your summers RVing? Why not spend a week or so in the beautiful north woods making a difference at Pine Haven while enjoying God’s creation. 

    Short-Term Volunteers: If you’d like to volunteer your services at a time other than Work Weekend, contact Tay Odor to discuss the possibilities. Want an excellent youth group mission project?

Q: Does Pine Haven accept credit cards?
A: If you register on-line you can pay through paypal which does accept credit cards. Currently, Pine Haven does not accept credit cards for on-site registration.
